End-of-night closeout cut from 45 minutes to 12
Three waterfront restaurants on three different legacy systems meant three separate reconciliations every week. Tableside gave the group one reporting layer and gave the managers their evenings back.

The Challenge
Harbor View grew from one restaurant to three in four years, and each location came with its own POS. The operations director spent her Mondays moving numbers between three reporting systems and a spreadsheet, hunting for mismatches.
Managers closed out each location separately: counting drawers, reconciling tabs, and printing reports that never agreed with the other two restaurants. A menu change meant three separate updates.
What They Did
- Migrated all three locations to Tableside within a week, one location at a time, with no closed nights.
- Centralized menu and pricing management so a change lands at every location at once.
- Gave each manager a location dashboard and the operations team a group view, so everyone reads the same numbers.
- Standardized one closeout checklist across the group, with drawer counts and tab reconciliation in the same flow.
The Results
- Closeout at each location dropped from 45 minutes to about 12.
- Group reporting is now live: the Monday reconciliation spreadsheet is gone.
- Managers get roughly 18 hours a week back across the group, most of it reinvested in staff training.
“The support team is phenomenal. Any issue we've had was resolved within hours, not days.”
